For the Meatloaf:
You will need the following organic ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups of dried oats
- 1/2 chopped white onion
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 egg
- A dash of salt and Aloha Peppers’ ‘Papaya + Hawaiian Chili Pepper’
- 1 cup of ketchup
- 2 tablespoons of spicy mustard
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350
- Kneed meat in bowl, adding salt and pepper, egg, onion, cheese, and finally the dried oats
- Scoop oval hand sized balls on to ungreased baking sheet
- Bake for about 45 minutes
- While that’s cooking, combine the ketchup, spicy mustard, and brown sugar in a sauce pan
- Remove meatloaf from the oven, add the sauce on top, then bake for another 10 minutes
- Once finished, let cool for a few minutes and then it’s ready to serve!
For the Purple Mashed Potatoes:
You will need the following organic ingredients:
- 4 white potatoes
- 4 purple sweet potato
- 2 clusters garlic
- 1/4 cup macadamia nut milk (or substitute)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (unrefined)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon Coconut oil (unrefined
- A dash of salt and Aloha Peppers ‘Papaya + Hawaiian Chili Pepper’
Instructions:
- Boil 6 to 8 cups of water
- Peel garlic and add to water
- Add potatoes and boil till soft
- Strain and add in the macadamia nut milk, butter, coconut oil and seasonings
- Mix until creamy or to your liking
As you can see from the picture, we paired those items with a fresh mixed green salad.
