Easy and Delicious Meatloaf and Purple Mashed Potatoes Recipe

For the Meatloaf:

You will need the following organic ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cups of dried oats
  • 1/2 chopped white onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 egg
  • A dash of salt and Aloha Peppers’ ‘Papaya + Hawaiian Chili Pepper’
  • 1 cup of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons of spicy mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Kneed meat in bowl, adding salt and pepper, egg, onion, cheese, and finally the dried oats
  3. Scoop oval hand sized balls on to ungreased baking sheet
  4. Bake for about 45 minutes
  5. While that’s cooking, combine the ketchup, spicy mustard, and brown sugar in a sauce pan
  6. Remove meatloaf from the oven, add the sauce on top, then bake for another 10 minutes
  7. Once finished, let cool for a few minutes and then it’s ready to serve!

For the Purple Mashed Potatoes:

You will need the following organic ingredients:

  • 4 white potatoes
  • 4 purple sweet potato
  • 2 clusters garlic
  • 1/4 cup macadamia nut milk (or substitute)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (unrefined)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil (unrefined
  • A dash of salt and Aloha Peppers ‘Papaya + Hawaiian Chili Pepper’

Instructions:

  1. Boil 6 to 8 cups of water
  2. Peel garlic and add to water
  3. Add potatoes and boil till soft
  4. Strain and add in the macadamia nut milk, butter, coconut oil and seasonings
  5. Mix until creamy or to your liking

As you can see from the picture, we paired those items with a fresh mixed green salad.
